Set up in 1981, K J Somaiya Institute of Management, Mumbai is an Autonomous Educational Institute approved by University Grant Commission, and is a constituent Institute of Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU). It offers full time, part time and executive programmes in Business Management along with Masters in Computer Applications and Doctoral Programmes. K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management no longer awards PGDM and has changed its courses to MBA degree programmes. The MBA degree at K J Somaiya Institute of Management is awarded under the aegis of Somaiya Vidyavihar University of which K J Somaiya is an integral institute.
