TAPMI Manipal IPM admission eligibility is as shared below:

7.1 TAPMI IPM Academic Eligibility Criteria

  • Pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board, with minimum 60% aggregated marks,
  • Minimum 60% aggregated marks in Std. 10th

8. TAPMI IPM Admission Process 2024
TAPMI IPM Admission 2024 is a two-step process – Shortlisting based on Academics and Entrance exam score and final selection, as below:

8.1 TAPMI IPM Shortlisting Criteria

  • TAPMI uses IPMAT/ JEE/ SAT/CLAT/MET scores for shortlisting the candidates for IPM program
  • There is no “Management Quota” for admissions at TAPMI.
  • Students will be shortlisted and informed at their registered email address.
  • Thereafter, candidates will have to appear for an online interview and micro-presentation

8.2 TAPMI IPM Admission 2024: Final Selection Process
The final selection for admission to the TAPMI IPM programme would be based on:

  • Academic profile (Xth & XIIth) & English proficiency
  • Entrance Test (IPMAT/ JEE/ SAT/CLAT/MET)
  • Personal Interview
  • Micro-presentation
  • Extra-curricular achievements
  • Gender diversity considerations

8.3 TAPMI IPM Admission 2024: Final Selection Components & Guidelines for Admission
In the final selection round, TAPMI IPM admission PI round will have following components, which you need to prepare well for effective presentation: 

8.3.1 Statement of Purpose (SoP)
TAPMI requires SoP before PI round. A good statement of purpose should cover the following elements:

  • The factors that excite the candidate in a career and the reason for the same.
  • What accounts for the candidate’s interest in the IPM program?
  • How in the candidate’s view the IPM program relates to his/her career plans?
  • Where would the candidate like to be after IPM and after 10 years?
  • What in the candidate’s views are his/her strengths and areas of improvement?
  • What are the challenges that the candidate sees ahead and how they will impact the career plans?
  • The SoP should overall not be more than 750 words.
  • Students are advised to complete all the 6 SOP questions as per the instructions in the SOP word file and upload it on the link provided/ advised in the interview invitation email.

8.3.2 Micro Presentation: Key Guidelines and Proposed Topics
For TAPMI IPM Admission, each student will have to make an oral micro-presentation of 90 seconds (One and a half minute). The Micro Presentation is like Extempore conducted by many B-schools during PI round. Key Features of TAPMI IPM Micro Presentation are:

  • The topic will be assigned on-the-spot by the interview panel
  • Student will be provided 90 seconds time to prepare for the micro-presentation.
  • Please note that the student does not have the right to decide the topic of micro-presentation and will have to make the presentation on the topic decided by the interview panel.
