6. Great Lakes Eligibility Criteria 2023 for PGPM & PGDM
Great Lakes Institute of Management offers its flagship 1 year full time residential Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) as well as 2 Years full time Post graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). Both the programmes are approved and highly ranked. However, based on their duration, curriculum structure, industry requirement among other factors, the admission eligibility criteria for both the programmes differ:
6.1 Great Lakes Eligibility Criteria for 1 Year PGPM Admission 2023
- For PGPM 2023-24 admission, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept scores of GMAT taken after 1st January 2020, CAT taken in 2021/2022, XAT taken in 2022/2023 or CMAT taken in 2022/2023
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with at least 60% in graduation
- Candidates with more than two years of work experience are considered for admission. However, exceptional students with 21 months of experience (by April 30th, 2023) may be considered.
6.2 Great Lakes Eligibility Criteria for 2 Years PGDM Admission 2023
- All PGDM applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution with 60% marks in class 10/12 and graduation
- Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for Great Lakes Admission for PGDM 2023-25 Batch
- It is mandatory for a final year student, who is provisionally considered eligible by Great Lakes Institute of Management and offered admission, to submit the mark-sheet and degree certificate of the final year bachelor's degree examination held on or before June 30, 2023 at a later date as decided by Great Lakes.
- Only Fresh Graduates and candidates with less than 36 months of work experience after graduation as on 30th June 2023 are eligible to apply. Candidates with greater than 36 months of work- experience should apply for the Great lakes one year PGPM program.
- Internship or part time work experience is not considered. Only full time work experience is considered. However, full time work experience as an entrepreneur or in family business will be taken into account.
- All PGDM applicants are required to appear for GMAT/CAT/XAT /CMAT before applying to Great Lakes Institute of Management.

9.1 Shortlisting Criteria
The first part of Great Lakes Institute of management Admission criteria is the shortlisting criteria before final selection round. Great Lakes will shortlist the candidates on the basis of following parameters:
- Great Lakes Institute of Management will consider aggregate scores and not the sectional scores of the applicants in the acceptable entrance exams for shortlisting.
- In case more than one exams are taken by the applicant, Great Lakes will short-list the candidates for the interview based on their best available test scores in CAT/XAT/ CMAT/GMAT

12. Great Lakes Admission 2023-24: Step by Step Process
Following steps are included in the Great Lakes Admission process. However, Applicants should ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria, have appeared or have registered for the required CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT exam, the scores of which are accepted by Great Lakes for Admission:
Step 1: Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply to Great Lakes Institute of Management by completing the online admission application form at Great Lakes website.
Step 2: Candidates can apply through one of the modes - by filling in the common online application form at Great Lakes website after making a payment of INR 2,000

Step 4: Candidates are short-listed for Personal Interview (PI) and Essay Writing Test from among the eligible candidates who have a valid entrance exam score and have applied to the programme of Great Lakes Institute of Management. The Personal Interview process will be conducted in the month of March/April 2023 at Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.
