Official XAT Mock Test 2024: Release Date-December 2023
The full length official XAT Mock test for XAT 2024 Exam will be released by XLRI. This XAT sample paper is without solution but contains instructions how to take the exam. This XLRI full length official XAT mock test is a free XAT mock test 2024 and will serve as the guide about the XAT question paper 2024. The XAT sample paper will be officially provided to all the candidates preparing for the XAT exam. The XAT actual exam on January 7, 2024 will be based on this Mock Test.
XAT Mock Test 2024 for Actual XAT Exam: Important Instructions
XLRI official Mock Test 2024 reflects the actual XAT 2024 exam pattern, key changes in XAT Test Paper 2024 among others. Key features of Mock Test 2024 are:
- XAT Mock 2024 is full length official XAT mock test with 100 MCQ type questions to be solved in a time duration of 3 hours 10 minutes
- The official XAT mock is a free XAT Mock test and will have 5 sections divided into 2 parts – Part-1 with 3 sections and part-2 with GK & Essay Writing section
- In part-1 of the free XAT Mock test, there are 75 questions divided in three sections. The total time duration to attempt the three sections is 165 minutes
- The 3 sections in part 1 of XAT Mock 2024 are - Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning; Decision Making; Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation
- In part-2 of the free XAT mock test, there are 25 GK questions which should be attempted in 15 minutes and 1 essay writing test
- Score of first three sections will be counted for XAT score percentile calculation while the score of 4th GK section and 5th essay writing test is not counted in XAT percentile calculation
- +1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and a penalty of -0.25 mark is applied for each wrong answer in XAT free Mock test 2024
- No Negative Marking for General Knowledge section in Part 2 of XAT Mock paper 2024
- Negative marking for every unattempted question beyond 8 unattempted questions is 0.10 mark
- On completion of 165 minutes, the timer will reach zero and Part 1 will be locked. You will be moved to Part 2, i.e., General Knowledge and essay writing section of the Question Paper.
- You are not allowed to leave the test lab before completion of the test.
- PwD candidates will get extra time of 20 minutes per hour which results in extra time of 55 minutes for Part 1 and 5 minutes for Part 2.
- PwD candidates are allowed to submit their answers at any point of time between 165 minutes and 220 minutes for Part 1 and between 15 to 20 minutes for Part 2. So, a PwD candidate may leave the lab between 180 minutes and 240 minutes depending upon the completion time of the test.
