XAT 2023 official Answer key has been released by XLRI in the afternoon on Jan 17, 2023 after the release of Candidate response sheet on Jan 10. The official XAT answer key will help you to calculate your score and match the same with XAT cut offs in top MBA colleges. XAT exam was held on January 8, 2023 in a single slot.
XAT 2023 structure was changed with re-introduction of essay writing test after a long gap of three years. XLRI Jamshedpur released the candidate response sheet and official XAT answer key within 2 days of conducting the XAT exam, to enable the test takers to check their answers and calculate their XAT score as per XAT scoring scheme. 2. XAT 2023 Answer Key: Key Highlights
- There are 4-5 sets of XAT question paper. XLRI has released the XAT answer key for all sets of XAT questions paper
- XAT 2023 Answer key is released only for three sections which have negative marking – namely, Verbal & Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation
- As per the past trends, XAT 2023 result is expected around January 14, 2023 well before the officially announced date of January 31, 2023.
- Since, XAT 2023 was a single session exam, it is easy for XLRI to publish the XAT answer keys 2023 for all the XAT questions as against other exams which are held in multiple sessions on multiple days.
- As GK section is not counted for percentile calculation, XLRI does not release the answer keys for GK questions in XAT exam
- The subjective Essay Writing Test is re-introduced in XAT 2023 but its answer key is not published by XLRI

6. How to File Objection to XAT Answer Key?
If you are not satisfied with the XAT official answer, you can raise objection by making payment for challenging each answer key.
The last date and time to challenge the XAT 2023 answer key is 2-3 days after release of the XAT answer key. The process closes at midnight.
7. XAT 2023 Answer Keys: How to Calculate your Score with the XAT Scoring Pattern?
Each correct answer in XAT 2023 carries +1 mark and each wrong answer will impose a negative penalty of -0.25 mark. 8. Five Facts about XAT Answer Keys 2023
- Only actual XAT 2023 Test Takers can view and download XAT answer keys
- XAT 2023 answer keys are released by XLRI only
- Answer keys of XAT 2023 are released for the three sections – Verbal & Logical Ability; Decision Making; Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation as they are counted for percentile calculation in XAT.
- XAT 2023 answer key are available online
- XAT answer key enable the test takers to check & verify their XAT answers and thereby arrive at their expected XAT score to explore chances for MBA admission 2022 in XLRI, XIMB and other preferred colleges.
9. XAT Answer Key PDF
XAT Solutions 2023 by XLRI consists of the XAT answer keys for the questions in those sections which are counted for percentile calculation. XAT is now a computer based online test and is divided into Part 1 and Part 2, with 100 questions in MCQ format. While the XAT answer keys for 3 sections with 75 questions in Part-1 will help in assessing the score and percentile in XAT 2023 exam, the XAT answer keys for GK section serves no such purpose and therefore are not required as the score of GK section is not taken into account to prepare the percentile in XAT exam.
Number of questions in XAT exam 2023 for all the sections are 101. XAT solutions 2023 are released only for three core sections in XAT 2023 exam, the total number of XAT 2023 answer keys per question set are 75.

XAT answer keys which were released for the first time in 2015 had 84 answers. Total questions in XAT at that time were 114. There were 4 question paper sets titled A, B, C, D in XAT and XLRI had also released a separate document which contained only answer keys in respect to each set of XAT questions as well as all the 4 sets of question papers with solutions.
11. XAT Answer Key: Important Points
- XAT Answer Keys are released with XAT Question paper

- Only the candidates who actually appeared in XAT 2023 exam can check XAT answer keys
- An objection form is made available to challenge official XAT answer key
- A nominal fee has to be paid to challenge XAT answer key
- All the objections to official XAT answer keys have to be submitted online
- 3-4 days will be given to the candidates to raise objection on XAT official answer key
Earlier, when XAT used to be paper based test, candidates were allowed to take the question booklet with them. Accordingly XAT answer keys helped them to very well assess their position and could judge the scores they would be going to get based on the accuracy of the answered questions. The detailed XAT solutions with explanations also helped the test takers in ascertaining their chances to be shortlisted by XLRI or other top rated B schools and also provided them guidance for the future.
However, with the computerized XAT exam now, XLRI releases the XAT Question Papers with solutions pdf as only XAT answer keys may not suffice.
