CMAT Answer Key 2022: Check CMAT Question Paper with Solution

NTA has released CMAT 2022 answer key after a delay of 7 days on April 18 late night. The late release of CMAT answer key will impact on the late release of CMAT 2022 exam result. CMAT answer key is released on official NTA CMAT website nta.cmat.ac.in. The National Testing Agency (NTA) earlier used to release official CMAT answer key with candidate response sheet after three – four days of CMAT exam date but this year this has been delayed by more than 7 days. CMAT 2022 was conducted in a single slot on April 9, 2022, while CMAT last year was conducted in two slots, yet the CMAT answer key release is delayed as compared to last year

 National Testing Agency displays the CMAT answer keys and CMAT response sheet with CMAT objection form to challenge the CMAT 2022 answer key on the NTA CMAT exam official website cmat.nta.nic.in, prior to declaration of CMAT result 2022.

The CMAT answer keys with objection form to challenge the responses in the answer options are released by National Testing Agency (NTA) which now conducts CMAT exam instead of AICTE.

According to NTA, “The NTA will display Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the NTA website: cmat.nta.nic.in, with a Public Notice issued to this effect on the said website, to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of Rs. 200/- per question challenged as processing charges.”

• A Public Notice regarding the CMAT answer key release is displayed on the NTA CMAT website, to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys
• CMAT answer keys are displayed for all the question sets on CMAT exam website

• Along with the CMAT Answer key, the NTA will display the CMAT Question Paper Attempted by the candidate
• CMAT 2022 Question paper and Answer Key will be live on the NTA’s website cmat.nta.nic.in.

• The candidates, who are not satisfied with the CMAT answer keys, may challenge them by filling online application form
• The Fee to challenge CMAT official answer key is Rs.1000/- per question
• The processing charges can be paid by credit/debit card/Net banking

• NTA’s decision on the CMAT answer key challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained

How to Check CMAT Question Paper, Answer Keys and Response Sheet
Checking, verifying and submitting the objections after checking the CMAT 2022 question paper, answer keys and your response sheet is two steps process:   

Step-1: Check CMAT Question Paper &Answer Keys

• Go to CMAT 2022 official website
• Click on Display Question paper and Responses
• Login either with your CMAT application number and password Or with application number and date of birth
• Complete CMAT question paper with question ID and answer options will open
• Now you can view the CMAT question paper, question ID and answer option IDs
• To check your CMAT response sheet you have to follow Step-2

Step-2: Check CMAT Response Sheet

• Go to CMAT 2022 official website
• Click on Challenge Answer Keys
• Login either with your CMAT application number and password Or with application number and date of birth
• Complete CMAT response sheet with the question ID and answer ID that you attempted gets opened
• To check correct answer you have to go with each question one by one and cross check which is the correct answer option ID for the question
• In case you are not satisfied with the correct answer key as given on the CMAT website, you can challenge the answer keys by filing the claim after paying a fee of Rs.1000/- per question 

Procedure How to Challenge Answer Key of CMAT-2022

1. Please go to official CMAT 2022 website
2. Click ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’ button.
3. Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter Security Pin as displayed and then click on Submit button.
4. You will be able to see 100 Questions IDs along with Option IDs & Correct Option IDs, they are in sequential order.
5. The Option IDs next to the Question ID under the column ‘Correct Option(s)/Answer’ is correct answer key.
6. If you wish to challenge this option, you may select one or multiple Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking in the check box.
7. If you want to upload supporting documents, you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
8. After clicking your desired option, scroll down, ‘submit your Claim’ and move to next screen.
9. You will be able to see a display of all the Option IDs which you want to challenge.
10. Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
11. Select Mode of Payment and Pay your processing fee @ Rs.1000/- for each question challenged. You have to make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking only.

NTA’s Decision Final on Objections to CMAT Answer Keys
On the issue of examining, entertaining and taking final decision on the challenges submitted by the candidates on the CMAT Answer Keys, the National Testing Agency has clarified, “The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained.”

NTA has further clarified that no grievance with regard to CMAT answer key(s) after declaration of result of CMAT will be entertained nor shall there be a provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the CMAT Score and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained by NTA    

CMAT Score Based on Final CMAT Answer Keys
NTA has confirmed that the CMAT result will be released after finalizing the CMAT answer keys. According to NTA, “The result will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys.”

Clarifying further NTA has shared,“The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the Result of CMAT-2022. No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their Score Cards from the website: cmat.nta.nic.in only.”
