In its notification dated November 14, 2023, Tata Institute of Social Sciences has clarified, “The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), has decided that admission for the forthcoming Academic Session 2024-25 for all its Postgraduate Programmes will be based on the CUET (PG)-2024 scores, except for the following programmes, which will consider CAT scores.
- Master of Arts in Human Resource Management & Labour Relations
- Master of Arts in Organisation Development, Change and Leadership

TISS NET 2024 Registration: Important Points to Note
- TISS NET Application fee payment done through any mode other than the above modes is not acceptable and the TISS NET application will be rejected. No communication to this effect will be sent to such candidates.
- While registering for TISS NET 2024, candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes and pay TISS NET exam fee for each of these programmes in one online form. Candidates should not fill more than one form. If a candidate is found to have filled more than one TISS NET online form, all her/his applications will be cancelled.
- Candidates applying online for TISS NET 2024, will be asked to choose between two modes of payment 'Cash' or 'Payment Gateway' in the TISS NET online application form. If the preferred mode of payment is 'Cash', a payment challan has to be downloaded from the 'Download Challan' tab. The payment challan will have 3 copies. Deposit the cash amount mentioned on the challan in any branch of State Bank of India. The bank will return two copies of the challan (Student Copy and TISS Copy) with the banks seal, signature and journal number on it. Candidates have to scan the 'TISS Copy' of the challan, login back to the online application system and upload it.
TISS NET 2024 Application Submission: General Instructions
- Candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any two of the TISS Campuses and other Centre locations. They are advised to make their choice of programmes carefully after reading the programme descriptions. Change of programmes will not be allowed once admission is completed.
- Candidates are requested to carefully read through the eligibility criteria before filling up the form.
- Unemployed candidates, whose parent’s / guardian’s annual income from all the sources for the Financial Year 2022-23 was less than Rs.2.5 Lakhs for SC/ST and Rs.1 lakh for OBC(NC) are required to pay Rs.250/- as Concessional Application Fee for each programme. However, they should upload the necessary certificates.
- Candidates have to upload / attach relevant certificates strictly in the prescribed format. The Institute also takes steps to have the Caste/Tribe/Non-creamy layer/ Income certificates verified by the competent authorities post-admission and those found to have submitted manipulated certificates at any stage of their study, will be asked to leave the programme.
- Candidates are required to pay the TISS NET Application Fee amount for every programme she/he applies for. For SC/ST/OBC(NC) candidates, the application fee is Rs. 250/- per programme + bank charges.
- A candidate can apply for multiple programmes and pay for each of those programmes in ONE online form. Candidates SHOULD NOT fill more than one TISS NET 2024 application form. If a candidate is found to have filled more than one online form, all her/his applications will be cancelled.

How to Upload Certificates with TISS NET Application Form 2024?
- Candidates applying through the TISS NET online application form will have to upload the certificates mentioned above. Those who are submitting a hard copy of the TISS NET application form should post along with the application form the above mentioned documents attested by a School Headmaster or a Principal of College or a Gazetted Officer (refer to Reservation Section on the admission website). Requests received without the above Certificates will be rejected and no communication will be sent in this regard.
- SC/ST candidates whose annual family income is <=250000 (2.5 lac) and OBC(NC) candidates whose annual family income is <=100000 have to upload Income certificate for the Financial Year 2022-2023 issued by Revenue Officer

In case of payment of TISS NET Fee by cash deposit in an SBI branch, please note that the SBI will charge Rs. 50/- as their processing fee for each deposit, which cannot be adjusted against the TISSNET application fee.
