1. How to Download NMAT Result? Step by Step Process
Your NMAT Score card is published on the offiicial NMAT by GMAC exam website Mba.com. Your score card will be updated with scaled scores for all the attempts. After receiving an email from the official website of the NMAT alerting you that your NMAT score card is ready, you will need your personal login details to download the exam score card directly on the official website.
You can get access and download NMAT score card in four steps:
- GMAC will send you the message on your registered email ID that your NMAT scores are available once they are published
- You can download NMAT score card by login to your NMAT by GMAC account.
- The final percentile ranking score is calculated after all the candidates have taken the NMAT 2024 exam and your NMAT score card will be updated with the final score in the 3rd week of January 2025.
- The last step is that your scores will be sent to the B-schools that you selected to share your NMAT scores
2. When to Download NMAT by GMAC Result?
- You can download Score Card in 72 Hours of Taking the Test.
- Test takers will be able to see score card on screen after the test is successfully completed
- Test taker will also receive an email alert within 72 hours post successful test delivery once the official score card is available for download from the candidate dashboard
3. Types of Scores in NMAT Score Card
After downloading the NMAT by GMAC result 2024, you will find that your score card has 3 types of score but no percentile score as below:
- Sectional score
- Total score
- Scaled score for each section.
3.1 How the score is awarded in NMAT Result?
- GMAC awards NMAT exam score by obtaining the candidate’s final ability estimate based on the probabilistic model approach of modern test theory.
- This score is then transformed to a scaled score ranging from 12 to 360. The questions that a candidate gets in the question paper are targeted at his or her ability level; therefore, a high- scoring candidate generally receives a more difficult sample of questions than a low- scoring candidate.

4. NMAT Final Percentile Rank
The process of final percentile rankings is discontinued. However, in case it is applied, it will be calculated after all the candidates have taken their exam(s) and will be announced and updated in your score card in January 2025.
5. NMAT Scaled scores Vs Percentile scores
- NMAT Scaled scores - All of the NMAT test forms are equated to account for any differences in overall difficulty and the raw test scores are placed on a common scale. This process ensures that scores are comparable across test forms such that the scores are not impacted by different candidates getting different test forms.
- NMAT Final Percentile Scores- Discontinued Now: For understanding the process is that the Final Percentiles are calculated at the end of the year after all candidates have completed taking the NMAT by GMAC exam. Your score card, and the score card that is sent to schools will be updated with the final percentiles announced in the 3rd week of January 2025.
6. Last Date to Download NMAT Result 2024
A time limit upto March 31, 2025 is allowed for NMAT 2024 score card download from the NMAT 2024 result website.

GMAC official website MBA.com had informed, “Every year, the NMAT cut-off score is calculated based on factors such as the number of seats in a program, the difficulty of the NMAT, the number of NMAT application forms, and previous cut-off scores and trends. For the NMAT 2023, the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Bangalore has an NMAT cut-off score of 220+, while at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai (NMIMS Mumbai), the college has an NMAT cut-off score of 248+.”
