CUET 2024 syllabus is based on changed exam pattern which consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs) with answer choices for each question as below:

  • CUET 2024 Syllabus Section-I: Languages: The CUET 2024 Section-1 syllabus is divided into 2 Subsections namely – Section 1A with 13 Languages and Section 1B with 20 Languages
  • CUET 2024 Syllabus Section-II: Domain Subjects: CUET Section-II syllabus has Domain Subjects divided in two lists-B1 and B2. You can opt for maximum 6 domain subjects out of them
  • CUET 2024 Syllabus Section-III General Test: Compulsory Section: This is an Aptitude Test. The Section consists of key topics on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning

CUET 2024 Syllabus Section-I: Languages
The CUET 2024 Section-1 syllabus is divided into 2 Subsections:

 

Section IA: 13 Languages

 

CUET 2024 exam is conducted in 13 languages-

  • English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu
  • You must choose at least one language
  • This is compulsory

Section IB: 20 Languages

  • There are 20 Languages in this sub section
  • It is not compulsory for CUET entrance exam. However, you can choose any other language apart from those offered in Section I A
  • It is Optional, you may or may not choose the additional language

Type of Questions
Questions in this section are based on

  • Reading Comprehension passages
  • There will be different types of passages–Factual, Literary, Narrative, (Literary Aptitude, and Vocabulary]

CUET 2024 Syllabus Section-II: Domain Subjects
CUET Section-II syllabus has Domain Subjects divided in two lists-B1 and B2. You need to opt for following subjects for DU BMS/BBA admission 2024

  • Choose Minimum 3 Subjects
  • Mathematics Compulsory
  • Additionally Choose another 2 Subjects like Business Studies, Economics/ Business Economics, Entrepreneurship
  • One of the subjects should be from List B1

UET 2024 Syllabus Section-III General Test: Compulsory Section

  • This is an Aptitude Test
  • Compulsory section for DU BMS/BBA(FIA) Admission 2024
  • Section consists of key topics on General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Logical and Analytical Reasoning
  • The test consists of 75 MCQ Based Questions out of which 60 should be attempted

Type of Questions

  • Static GK and Current Affairs
  • Test of General Mental Ability IQ
  • Test of Numerical Ability
  • Test of Quantitative Reasoning based on Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat taught till Grade 8)
  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning

Difficulty Level of Questions for CUET (UG) 2024
All questions in various testing areas will be benchmarked at the level of Class XII only Students having studied Class XII Board syllabus would be able to do well in CUET (UG) 2024

Section IB: Languages
There are 20 Languages. Any other language apart from those offered in Section I A may be chosen.
Section II: Domain Specific Subject Test
There are 27 Domains specific subjects being offered under this Section. A candidate may choose a maximum of Six (06) Domains as desired by the applicable University/ Universities
Total: 45/50 Questions
Choice: 35/40 Questions to be attempted out of 45/50
MCQ Based Questions, as per NCERT Class XII syllabus only
40-45 Minutes for each Domain Specific Subjects
Section III: General Test
This test is for any such undergraduate programme or programmes which are offered by Universities where a General Test is being used for admission. For DU BBA/BMS admission Section-III is compulsory
