Candidates applying for CUET 2023 for Delhi University BBA/BMS admission 2023 in Shaheed Sukhdev College, Keshav Mahavidyalaya or other BBA colleges, must meet CUET BBA 2023 exam eligibility. CUET 2023 will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from May 21 to 31, 2023 as online computer based test for admission to BBA/BMS programs offered by Delhi University colleges as well as other 44 central universities in India.

 

Key points in CUET BBA 2023 eligibility criteria to appear in CUET 2023 are as under:  

 

1. CUET BBA Eligibility Criteria 2023 for DU Admission
The candidate, who wants to appear in CUET 2023 and take admission to BMS/BBA programs offered by Delhi University colleges, should have following eligibility:

 

1.1 Citizenship Requirement for DU CUET BBA Eligibility
Applicant must be citizen of India

 

1.2 Academic DU CUET BBA Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • The candidate must have passed the Class XII or its equivalent examination from a single recognized board.
  • If you are appearing in Class 12 exam in 2023, you are eligible to apply for CUET BBA 2023
  • There is no restriction on minimum percentage of marks in class 12 to appear for CUET 2023 exam
  • For DU BBA admission 2023, the Delhi University admission policy will apply while considering the performance in class 10 and 12 and CUET exam

1.3 DU CUET Eligibility due to Gap Year in Academics

  • If a candidate has a gap year between class 10 and 12 or after class 12, it will not be a bar for DU BBA admission eligibility 2023.
  • No candidate will be disqualified because of the gap year in academics

2. Age Requirement for DU CUET BBA Exam Eligibility

  • There is no age limit for the candidates
  • The candidates who have passed the class 12th /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in CUET (UG) - 2023 examination
  • Delhi University has not prescribed any minimum age limit for DU BBA admission eligibility 2023
  • The candidates will be required to fulfill the age criteria, if any, of the University in which they are desirous of taking admission.

3. DU CUET BBA Exam Eligibility for Reserved Category & Minority Category

  • For BBA admission eligibility in Delhi University through CUET (UG) - 2023 , the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the Delhi University shall be applicable
  • Indian nationals belonging to certain categories are admitted to Delhi University under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by the Government of India and by the Delhi University
  • Candidates from Sikh and Christian Minority community can seek admission under minority quota in minority colleges of Delhi University. But they must appear in CUET 2023
  • 10% of supernumerary seats are reserved for foreign nationals in DU BBA and other UG programmes

4. CUET BBA Exam Eligibility 2023 for DU Admission
Delhi University has clarified on the CUET BBA 2023 Exam Eligibility for admission to BMS/BBA (FIA)/BA Hos Business Economics programs offered by SSCBS, Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Deen Dayal Upadhyay and other affiliated colleges as below:

 

4.1 DU BMS Eligibility Criteria 2023:

  • Candidates must appear in CUET 2023 in the following subject combination:
  • Any one Language from List A + Mathematics + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)
  • Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects.

4.2 DU BBA(FIA) Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • Candidates must appear in CUET in the following subject combination:
  • Any one Language from List A + Mathematics + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)
  • Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects.

4.3 DU B.A (Hons) Business Economics Eligibility Criteria 2023

  • Candidates must appear in CUET in the following subject combination:
  • Any one Language from List A + Mathematics + SECTION III of CUET (General Test)
  • Merit will be based on the CUET scores obtained from the above-mentioned combination of subjects.  

CUET Exam 2023 Eligibility Weightage: BBA/BBS Admission 2023

  • Selection will be based on the rank computed from the performance in CUET. The score in the entrance test is sole eligibility criteria for DU BBA Admission 2023
  • Merit list for BBA admission 2023 will be prepared based on CUET score and other criteria as prescribed by Delhi University
  • Class 12 or class 10 marks may not be given weightage in DU BBA admission 2023

Ranking for Admissions
A ranking of applicants will be prepared for each course that shall guide the admission process and shall be displayed on the Admission Portal of Delhi University.

  • The final ranking shall not have any repeated ranks.
  • In the case of a tie for rank, the following tie-breaking rule shall be applied in the order provided below:
  • The applicant with higher score in CUET will be considered first for admission
  • The applicant with the earlier date of birth (as mentioned in class X certificate) will be considered for allotment/admission.

DU Eligibility for Allotment of Courses and Colleges

  • The allotment of seats shall be done centrally and shall be displayed on the Delhi University Admission Portal
  • Only the applicants who satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria for the course will be considered for admission.
  • In the case of BA(H)BE/BMS/BBA(FIA) and the B.El.Ed. courses, the seats available in each college (and course) in each admission category shall be allotted to the applicants in order of their ranks and as per their preferences subject to availability, till all seats in the particular college (andcourse) are exhausted
  • An applicant allotted a seat higher in their preference order will not be allowed a change to any seat lower in their preference order within the same admission category.
