This year XLRI has added more test cities for XAT exam. Applicants residing in the cities of Tejpur, Shillong, Jorhat, Rajkot, Naharlagun do not need to go to other cities to appear in XAT 2023 exam as XLRI has confirmed that all these cities have been included as XAT 2023 test centres

This Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur, is an important MBA entrance test leading to MBA admission in XLRI, K J Somaiya, IMT, XIMB, TAPMI, XIME and other 140 MBA colleges in India. The exam is conducted every year by XLRI Jamshedpur for more than 70 years on behalf of XAMI.  XLRI Jamshedpur which is conducting XAT 2023 as an online computer based test of three hours duration, has advised the XAT applicants to register in time at official XAT 2023 website. The XAT online registration 2023 will remain open for more than 100 days. You can complete XAT 2023 online Registration as well as XAT Application Form Online on the XAT Registration website ‘onlinexat’. The last date for XAT 2023 registration is November 30, 2022

XAT 2023 Registration Fees
The XAT exam 2023 Registration fees is Rs.2000/-. It is increased to Rs.2000 this year from Rs.1800 last year. However, the application fee for XLRI programs has been reduced. Confirming the XAT registration and application fees to MBAUniverse.com, Dr Vishwa Ballabh, said, “XAT 2023 registration fee will be Rs 2000/. • You can select 2 most preferred XAT exam cities where you wish to appear in XAT 2023, from the list of XAT exam cities.
• XAT 2023 Registration Fee of Rs.2000/- includes the XAT registration fee and XAT exam 2023 Fee.
• There is no time bound process to complete XAT exam registration and XAT application form 2023. They can be completed in one go or in different stages
• You have to complete the XAT Registration form online only as the offline XAT  registration form process has been discontinued by XLRI

Apart from other common sections, XAT has unique Decision Making section in its question paper. The XAT 2023 exam pattern with sectional composition is likely to remain as below

• 3 Hours 10 Minutes duration test
• XAT 2023 to have Essay Writing Test
• Computer based test
• Single slot, single day exam
• Question paper with 4 sections with MCQs and 1 section with Essay Writing Test
• The GK Section with 25 questions is not counted for percentile calculation
• Marks for every correct answer : +1, - 0.25 Negative Marking for wrong answer
• No Negative marking for General Knowledge and Essay writing section
• All the MCQ type questions have five options with one correct option
• Essay shall be evaluated after the candidate is shortlisted for the interview.
