IIM Kozhikode One Year MBA (PGP-BL) 5^th Batch Commencement
IIM Kozhikode has commenced its fifth batch of Postgraduate Programme in Business Leadership (PGP-BL) on April 18, 2024. IIMK has admitted 67 participants for this program. According to IIMK, 31 per cent of participants admitted are female candidates. Services, IT, BFSI and consulting sectors accounted for more than 75% of the incoming batch.

IIT Kozhikode further added that 31 per cent of the batch comprises of female candidates which is in line with IIM Kozhikode’s resolve for gender diversity and commitment to promoting women in management. The new batch of PGP-BL are from 17 states and Union Territories and different industry backgrounds with an average work experience of 4.9 years. About 68 per cent of the students are in the 25-27 age group in this offering of one-year full time, residential MBA.

IIM Kozhikode one year PGP BL is a full-time, residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program. IIM Kozhikode PGP-BL Admission Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must hold a duly recognized bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA or having a CA qualification.
• Minimum 3 years work experience after completion of graduation (and preferably less than 7 years)
• The applicant must also possess a valid score in CAT/GRE/ GMAT of last 3 years
• Candidates must have completed a minimum of 3 years of work after graduation. Any work experience obtained prior to graduation is not considered for calculating the total work experience
• The programme is targeted at working executives meeting the specified criteria from a range of functional / technical domains across a diverse range of organizations / industries
• IIM Kozhikode will also consider the nature and quality of work experience in assessing a candidate's fit for the programme
• There is no upper limit on work experience. However, the expectation is that candidates with work experience of between 3 to 7 years may be in a better position to leverage the program features

Admission process
The admission process starts with submission of online application. Once the online applications are submitted, IIMK faculty committee would review the application, shortlists candidates for interview based on various criteria. 3 Stage Selection Process
IIM Kozhikode will adopt a three-stage selection process for the admissions to PGP-BL:  Stage-I (Register & Submit online application), Stage-II (Shortlisting of the candidates), Stage-III (Personal Interview).

The three stage admission process consists of following steps:

• Step 1: Registration of candidates meeting the eligibility criteria
• Step 2: This stage requires the candidate to provide a statement of goals and an alternate essay. Shortlisting for PI will be done based on candidates meeting the basic eligibility criteria.
